Design the real iPhone app.

xoid puts your team’s actual iOS app on a canvas, running live. Select anything to change its text, colour, type or spacing, or ask the assistant. When it looks right, send it to your developer. No code, no Terminal, no Xcode windows.

3 trails near you
Try it: select the title, the card or the button. This is a sketch; in xoid, the phone is your team's real app, running live.

How it works

  1. Open your invite

Your developer sends you a link. xoid installs like any Mac app, then sets everything else up with you, step by step, with pictures and an honest time estimate. You won’t need Terminal.

  2. Change what you see

Your app runs live on the canvas. Select a button, a heading or a card and adjust it in the Inspector, or describe the change to the assistant. Every change is saved, and ⌘Z undoes it.

  3. Send it to your developer

When it looks right, xoid shares your changes with your developer for review on GitHub. You never see a branch, a commit or a line of code.

Live, not a picture

The canvas shows your app running in Apple’s iPhone simulator, so taps, scrolling and animation behave the way they will on a phone.

Real code, not a copy

Each change edits the app’s own Swift code. There’s no hand-off file to redraw and nothing to get lost between the mockup and what ships.

An assistant that knows your app

Ask in your own words, like “make the checkout button bigger”, and xoid makes the change in the app itself.

Plain words when something goes wrong

If something fails, xoid says what happened, that your work is safe, and the one thing to do next.

For developers

Prepare your app once. xoid adds a small .xoid folder to your repository that says how the app builds and which screens designers can open. Then invite your designers from xoid.

Their changes arrive as pull requests you review like any other, made of ordinary Swift edits. Each seat has a monthly allowance for the assistant, which you can change for your team.

What you need

  • A Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later) and macOS 26.6 or later.
  • Xcode from the Mac App Store. xoid walks you through getting it, and you won’t need to open it.
  • An invite from your team’s developer, who prepares the app for xoid once.

Try xoid with your team

xoid is in development and opening first to a small group of design teams. If your team designs an iPhone app and you’d like to try it, write to hello@xoid.design.
